[[image:Kathryn_at_GA_State_hotel.JPG width="274" height="204" align="left"]]As a Valley high school (IA) debater, Kathryn Clark twice qualified for the TOC and advanced to elimination rounds her senior year. She also was in late elimination rounds of several national tournaments, including the finals of Greenhill as well as the finals of Blake and New Trier, both of which she won. Kathryn also won several speaker awards including 2nd place individual speaker at MBA and New Trier. As a Dartmouth debater, Kathryn not only received a first round at-large bid for the NDT three times, but was twice ranked as one of the top 5 teams in the country. In addition to several very late elimination round appearances, Kathryn won the West Georgia tournament, won the Kentucky Round Robin twice, and also won the Dartmouth Round Robin. She received several top ten speaker awards at such major national tournaments as Kentucky, Wake Forest, Harvard, and the NDT. Kathryn cleared at the NDT three years in a row, reaching the octo-finals of this tournament. Most impressively, Kathryn may be the only college debater to reach the final round of the CEDA national tournament for three consecutive years. [[mailto:Kathryn.Clark@dartmouth.edu|email Kathryn]]

[[image:david_wiki.jpg width="293" height="194" align="right"]] As a debater for the College Preparatory School (CA), David Marks qualified for the TOC and cleared at several major national tournaments, such as UC Berkeley and Stanford University. As a Dartmouth debater, David twice won the UC Berkeley tournament, twice reached the finals of the West Georgia tournament, and also received a first round at-large bid to the NDT. David also reached the quarter finals of the NDT and the semifinals of CEDA Nationals, where he was walked over by another Dartmouth team. Currently a student at Columbia University Law School, David assistant coaches the Bronx Science debate team, which has reached the elimination rounds of such major national tournaments as Greenhill and Lexington.
